My Background
I started oil painting at age 12 in the basement of my Billings, Montana home. My interest in art led to a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Montana State University in both painting and graphic design. I found that art and design go hand in hand and make both stronger.

Currently, I am working primarily in oils and pencil. Over my life and career as a Graphic Designer, I have worked with many mediums and all aspects of lithography and 4-color printing.

I grew up in Montana fishing, hiking and hunting. As a youngster, I developed a keen interest in history especially Montana's as it was settled and grew to Statehood. I painted my first Native American portrait at age 14 and have been doing it ever since.
